What is a "Quad Fold" chair?

Yes. A high weight capacity usually means a sturdier frame and higher quality fabric that won't sag after just one season. Even if you're well under the limit, a chair rated to 200kg+ will generally outlast a budget chair rated to 100kg purely because of the materials used.

Can I use a camping chair on the beach?

You can, but not all chairs are suited to it. Standard narrow feet will sink straight into sand. Look for low profile chairs with wide feet or sled-style legs. Mesh fabric is also worth considering since it dries faster and won't hold sand the way padded polyester does.

How do I stop a camping chair from sinking into grass?

The easiest fix is a set of chair foot pads, which are basically small plastic discs that clip onto the bottom of each leg to spread the weight. You can pick them up for a few dollars online. Alternatively, a flat piece of timber or even a frisbee under each leg does the same job at a campsite.
