& Takedown Policy

Helping us keep Pack and Pitch accurate, respectful, and fair for the camping community.

1. Respect for Intellectual Property Pack and Pitch respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and contributors to do the same. We operate in accordance with applicable copyright laws, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (Australia) and the Copyright Act 1994 (New Zealand).

As a directory and platform, we act in good faith to host accurate and helpful information. We will respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the laws listed above.

2. Notice and Takedown Procedure If you believe that your work has been copied or displayed on the Pack and Pitch website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written notice containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Pack and Pitch website (please provide the specific URL to the listing or page so we can locate it).
  3. Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement by you that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

3. Counter-Notice If you believe that your content was removed (or access was disabled) by mistake or misidentification, or that you have authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law, you may send a counter-notice to us containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the content.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

5. Repeat Infringers It is the policy of Pack and Pitch to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
