About This Campsite
Ōrewa Beach Holiday Park is a large, well-equipped coastal camp on Auckland’s Hibiscus Coast, about 30 minutes north of the city centre. With around 100 sites ranging from standard powered to beachfront positions, it is one of the biggest holiday parks in the Auckland region and fills up fast over summer.
The facilities are excellent for a holiday park. Hot showers, flush toilets, camp kitchen, laundry, baby change room, dump station, WiFi, and gas BBQs are all on site. Pets are allowed on a leash, and the park suits everything from tents to large motorhomes and caravans up to 12 metres.
Ōrewa’s long sandy beach is right on your doorstep for swimming and fishing, and Auckland city is close enough for a day trip if you want to explore further. Waiheke Island ferries and several regional parks are all within reach. Powered sites run from $45 to $55 per night for standard spots, with beachfront sites from $65 to $80. Book well ahead for school holiday periods.
