Green Patch Camping Area
About This Campsite
Green Patch is the most popular camping area within Booderee National Park, located in the Jervis Bay Territory. Famous for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters, this family-friendly campground offers a unique blend of bushland and beachside camping. The site is jointly managed by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community and Parks Australia, offering visitors a chance to camp on culturally significant land.
Campsites are discrete and nestled among natural vegetation, offering privacy and shade. The campground is renowned for its resident wildlife; wallabies and kangaroos graze openly at dusk, and King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas frequent the trees. Facilities are excellent for a national park, featuring hot freshwater showers and sheltered barbecues. It is an unpowered campground suitable for tents, camper trailers, and small caravans (drive-in sites only). Bookings are essential and often fill up months in advance for peak periods
