Tasman Holiday Parks - Papamoa Beach

Tasman Holiday Parks Papamoa Beach is a massive, family-oriented holiday park on the long stretch of sand east of Mount Maunganui. With around 200 sites and a swimming pool, it is built for families who want beach camping with all the comforts of home.

The facilities cover everything. Hot showers, flush toilets, camp kitchen, laundry, baby change room, dump station, WiFi, gas BBQs, and pool access are all included in your site fee. The park takes tents, campervans, caravans, and motorhomes up to 12 metres, and pets are allowed on a leash.

Papamoa Beach itself is a long, open surf beach with good swimming and fishing. It is quieter than nearby Mount Maunganui, but the Mount’s cafes, shops, and headland walk are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Rotorua’s geothermal attractions are about an hour inland. Part of the Tasman Holiday Parks chain, the park is well maintained and consistently reliable. Powered sites run from $50 to $75 per night with pool access included.
